TYPE OF EXPERIENCE BY COUNTRY:

Business leadership roles (in red)

Business support roles (in green)
A personal takeaway shared as a guest lecturer in February 2016 with university students is that education abroad programs and work experience don't always align... a person does not always ultimately work in the country in which they studied. And that's OK!
Study Abroad programs allow one to:
-
check biases and filters;
-
quickly adapt to new cultures;
-
make better decisions through a larger, more diverse network; and
-
better understand stakeholder preferences to achieve organizational objectives.
Bottom line: You will never regret you borrowed money if needed to participate in a study abroad program and your career will be enhanced.
