USING SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE TECH WORLD
The Paris International Air Show is the world's largest of its kind, where companies from all over the earth convene to display the latest and greatest in aerospace and defense. Companies from Boeing to Virgin Galactic showcase planes and rocketships among great fanfare.
To stand out, we utilized a large interactive touch screen display, turned on its side to measure 102 inches tall. The screen featured male and female actors in international military uniforms previously filmed on a rotating disc in an entertainment studio in LA.
The actors sported a variety of cutting edge, wearable technology which helps a pilot fly better, disengage from the aircraft on a mission, and maintain situational awareness at all times. We branded these separate products under the umbrella of "Aviation Warrior."
Visitors touched the display, rotate the "soldiers" and clicked on equipment to view pop up video vignettes. A programmed iPad and App photographed the visitor superimposing his or her face onto the Aviation Warrior image for upload if they wished to their own social media channels.
Not only did the wearable smart technology receive media, accolades and sales but also the high tech, innovative manner in which it was marketed.
